The thing I’ve always loved about xkcd is the way that, even when the joke is about some incredibly esoteric part of programming or something, you can still make it relevant to your life by changing a few words around. For instance, you can replace Idiocracy with Eats, Shoots, and Leaves and replace the hat guy’s comments with some complaints about how texting is ruining the language:
